Intercity Travel Hockey
AHC's Intercity Travel Hockey Program covers all youth levels of play including Mite, Squirt, Pee-Wee, and Bantam teams. All teams participate in the Valley Hockey League.
Mite teams play half-ice (4v4), while all other levels play full-ice games.
Ages
- Mites, ages 7-8 (2016-17)
- Squirts, ages 9-10 (2014-15)
- Pee-Wee, ages 11-12 (2012-13)
- Bantams, ages 13-14 (2010-11)
Schedule
Tryouts for the 2024/2025 season will be in early April. The season begins in September and runs through the beginning of April.
Games
Games are most often on the weekends, and occasionally during the week and school vacations. Games start in September and can run through early April. All teams are invited to participate in AHC's Winter Classic tournament and may participate in external tournaments as they choose.
Practices
Practices are held weekday evenings and on weekends. Teams typically have at least 2-4 practices a week in the early season and then 1-3 a week during the high school hockey season. Most Practices are held at Ed Burns Arena in Arlington, Belmont Hill in Belmont, or the Holland Arena in Woburn.
2024/2025 SEASON
AHC's Intercity Travel program offers a competitive hockey experience for players born between 2010 (Bantams) and 2017 (Mites). This program includes approximately three practices per week, special skills practices for players and goalies, one to two games per week, participation in AHC's Winter Classic tournament, and participation in the Valley League playoffs.
Practices are held primarily at Ed Burns Arena, Belmont Hill, and Holland Arena. Games are played throughout the greater Boston area.
